Saturday, I took a bus from Bangalore to Mysore, with stops along the way to see palaces, temples and such other buildings. As you can probably guess, the most interesting sights were on the road, at least for me.
The bus driver was in a hurry for something, and made sure he honked at every moving thing we passed (or were trying to pass), from dogs to cows, to ox carts, rickshaws, cars, trucks, other buses, and so on… At the same time, the announcer in the bus qualified everything he talked about as “the very famous”. Some examples include the “very famous Tipu Sultan summer palace”, the “very famous statue of the daemon”, the “very famous zoo”, and the list goes on, and includes various levels of fame.
Anyway, I will stop writing, and let the pictures say the rest…

The man in white is probably trying to compensate for the lack of white in his eye. By the way, interesting character for a Tarantino movie.
Be kind Maurice. Not all of us are willing to give up to western civilization all too quickly.
